Certificate Course in ELECTRO-CARDIOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGY [Popularly known as “E.C.G. Tech.”]
- Minimum qualification for admission: Matric, 10+1, 10+2, B.Sc., B.A., B.Com., or any equivalent Qualifications.
- Duration: 6 months course.
- The medium of instructions: English, Punjabi or Hindi.
- 70% Attendance in theoretical/practical training classes is compulsory for the candidate enrolled for appearing n the final examination.
- Employment Opportunities :
Candidates will be suitable for appointment as ECG Tech./Assistant in Private Hospital/Nursing Homes or with private medical practitioners etc.
A certificate holder may open his/her on ECG Centre in any part of the country. Subject to state law’s or under the supervision of medical professional/cardiologist.
Note: The ECG certificate course is only allowed for the students of GNIMT who are doing the Diploma courses in X-Ray technology or Medical Technology. The ECG certificate course is not permitted for other candidates.
